Why build this?

It's simple: I missed a few comments when starting to use FriendFeed because there is no way to know when they are posted. Well, except by watching your own feed constantly.

Navel-gazing is nice sometimes but that was a bit too far :)

What I needed was a simple latest comments on your entries feed. Trying AppEngine was the perfect excuse and a couple of days later I had coded this.
